blindfolded and spun around a few times

Called the nursery and they didn't get the shipment of seed potatoes yet--maybe Monday. Outside it is starting to storm. We are supposed to have snow showers and temperatures in the mid 20s later today. I am still going to go put the trellis up. Maybe Monday would be a better day to plant the peas.

regain a healthy perspective

I tilled up a bit more of the garden today getting ready to plants peas tomorrow--moon is favorable from the 7th to the 10th.

Went to the nursery and bought some pea seeds and some squash seeds. I also picked up a small kit/nest that is supposed to attract Mason Bees. They are native to this area and do not sting--purported to be great pollinators. I have a perfect spot to set it up! Unfortunately they had no bees left to sell me but I am hoping my nest attracts a few anyway.

My plan for tomorrow is to get the trellis up for the peas and a pole in the ground--time to break out the post hole digger--for beans. The nursery is scheduled to get seed potatoes in stock tomorrow so I will be making another trip to pick some up.
